The Choosey User: Guiding behavior through choice

  • Thursday, June 24, 2021
  • 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM
  • Virtual (Zoom)

Affecting and directing user behavior is at the heart of UX and Product Design. But we don’t often talk about it beyond button color or placement. By framing user behaviors as the choices they make, we open up a whole toolbelt in how we show users value, leverage emotional and cultural norms, and structure our applications and websites.

Speaker: Cal (Michael) Ullinger

Cal (Michael) Ullinger is a product design manager with over 9 years of experience building innovative solutions for enterprise systems in healthcare, higher education, manufacturing, and more. He currently works on internal systems at Root Insurance, helping customers get back to whole as quickly as possible. He and his husband live in Columbus, OH where you can usually find him relaxing in his garden, playing Dungeons and Dragons, or with a VR headset on.
