You see the listicles all the time: “20 Hacks That Will Change Your Life” or “The 30 Most Useful Life Hacks Ever.” You can hack your diet, your routine, and even your body—so why not hack your UX?
This month’s event is designed to be a discussion around uncommon, unique, and out-of-the-box UX hacks. From user research, to survey and form conversion, and even presentation methods, we’ll walk through some successful hacks, and talk about UX hacks you may use as well.
This is meant to be an open discussion, so feel free to bring your own UX life hacks to share!
Jay Mazzone is a User Experience Designer at thunder::tech. With a master's degree in UX from Kent State, as well as 4+ years working as a UX Designer in agency settings, he’s developed a few great hacks (along with a couple good sites). Creating sitemaps and wireframes, conducting user research and keeping his finger on the pulse of the UX world, he strives to deliver the best possible experience for clients and users alike.
When he’s not at the office, you can find him at a microbrewery, hanging with his dog Percy, or at the ballpark. He still calls it "the Jake.”
