You may have heard of something called UX or user experience. You may even have UX on your team.  But you’re not sure what UX really does. We’ve put together a panel to shed some light on what UX is, how it differs across organizations, and the impact it has on shaping products and services.

Everyone on the panel brings unique perspectives to share. They are all active practitioners honing their craft. From small to large companies, from cross-functional teams to teams of 1, from distributed to co-located, you’ll learn a lot about UX.

Topics we will cover:

  • What UX means
  • What it’s like to practice UX
  • How UX workings at each organization
  • Which companies in town have UX
  • Who is hiring
  • How you can get into UX as a career

Facilitator:

Nicole Capuana, Product Design Consultant

Panel:

  • Jay Mazzone - UX Design at Thunder::tech
  • Abigail Plumb-Larrick - UX Research at Key Bank
  • Josh Kruszynski - Product Design at Complion, founder of Design Breakfast
  • Taylor Henschel  - Civic Innovation Fellow at Microsoft
  • Lindsey Redinger - Product Manager & User Research at InvsionApp
