Five misconceptions of user research will be revealed, debunked and put to the test. Participate in an eye opening perspective on common misnomers, what user research really means in today’s industries and how you can properly leverage it within your organization.

Samantha Beattie is an experienced user researcher focused on user-centered design. She has furthered the business goals of many companies through qualitative and quantitative research activities. She is an advocate of the customer and helps improve digital experiences based on user needs and expectations. She believes in using research outcomes to inform successful marketing strategies and the comprehensive work of her teams has been used to produce actionable recommendations for many brands including those in the gaming, consumer commerce, B2B, financial services and healthcare fields.
